Data we collect
Contact forms collect name, email, selected audit type, optional dates, and message content. During engagements we may process business contact details, access credentials you grant, and interview notes. Server logs may record IP address and user agent for security.
Purpose & legal basis
We process inquiry data to respond to audit requests and prepare estimates. Engagement data is processed to deliver contracted work. Where required, processing rests on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a professional practice, or consent for optional analytics cookies.
Retention
Inquiry messages are kept up to 24 months unless a related engagement continues. Engagement records are retained for seven years for accounting and professional accountability, then deleted or anonymised unless law requires longer storage.
International transfers
If tools hosted outside Japan process data (for example email or analytics providers), we select providers that offer appropriate safeguards and limit transfers to what the engagement requires.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact hello@distributeddevops.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.
