Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Distributed DevOps Audit uses a small set of cookies to keep the site working and, if you accept, to understand aggregate traffic. Rejecting optional cookies does not block browsing, reading field notes, or sending the contact form.
Types we use
Essential: remember your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear on every page load.
Analytics (optional): help us see which pages are visited most often. These load only after you accept.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| dda_cookie_consent | Stores accept or reject choice for the cookie banner | 1 year | Distributed DevOps Audit (first-party localStorage key) |
| _dda_analytics | Anonymous page-view counts when analytics are accepted | 6 months | Distributed DevOps Audit |
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Clear site data in your browser to reset the stored choice. Browser settings can block cookies entirely; essential preference storage may then reappear each visit.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may cause your browser to contact Google’s servers. We do not embed advertising cookies. If analytics vendors are added later, this page will list them.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics only stops optional measurement. Site navigation, forms, and legal pages remain available. For how personal data is handled more broadly, read our privacy notice.
